Actually this shot was a lot more skewiff and this was as much as I could straighten it up without the crop getting too tight. But it’s such a lovely moment, in mid-air and so sharp. Total fluke of course but a good one.
Processing was… a trial. I just had no idea what I wanted to do with it, which is no help when you’re processing an image! In the end tried to give it some good contrast without losing detail in the shadows, and a hint of cross-processed colour. It didn’t help that I wasn’t completely happy with the angle and crop, but beggars can’t be choosers.
