Hi there!

I’m back again. Had a bit of a busy spell there, completely forgot about the blog for a few weeks. I’ve been working a lot on a couple of different things but it’s just taken up all my time I’ve not had the energy to make some photos for myself and the blog. Turns out I had this one sitting saved and ready to go the whole time!

I took it at the house of the grandparents whose family I was photographing a few weeks back, in Dover. They had a couple of dogs, and this one was getting on a bit, had a “dicky eye” and lazed around in the lounge. I gave it the sort of crushed desaturated look using a B&W layer set to Soft Light, but that’s pretty much it as far as I remember. It was actually a really dark lounge – but the dog wasn’t going anywhere so I had no problem getting a slightly longer exposure. I’m not a dog fan as such but I’m coming round slowly – but this little guy was cute.
